Personal Independence Payments - PIP

Personal Independence payments are available to individuals over the age of 16 who have a long-term physical or mental health condition or disability. These payments are specifically for those who experience difficulty performing everyday tasks or getting out and about due to their condition or challenges.

This application can be very challenging and stressful. The form is not easy to follow, and if you make any mistakes, they can affect the outcome of the application itself.  I know from personal experience the challenges of completing the PIP application that unless you use the correct wording and structure, you do not get what you're entitled to.  I have challenged PIP outcomes, so I have the experience and understanding of the complexity of applying for this benefit.

If you instruct me to complete this application for you, I can offer the following service,

1) I will meet with you to understand your life, your condition and how it affects you daily.  This is done in a strength-based and person-centred way to ensure I get all the information I need to complete the application.  I can do this in person, via Microsoft Teams or telephone if that's easier for you.

2) I will get your consent to contact all medical and social care professionals in your life to ensure I have the required evidence to back up what I write in your application.

3) I will complete the form for you and be your point of contact for the DWP until the application is finalised and a decision is made.

4) During the application stage, you are welcome to call or email me if you have any questions or worries, as I know again how stressful this can be for anyone.

5) If I identify that you could not attend a personal assessment with the DWP during my time with you, I will write a letter to the DWP with your application to explain why attending would be challenging and give them the evidence to prove my opinion.  This is not guaranteed to be accepted by the DWP, but again, I am happy to do this as part of my service.

Please Note.

I don't promise that completing your application will result in your receiving PIP or the level of PIP you would like. The application is assessed based on the DWP criteria and evidence.

A deposit of 20% of my fee (£95.00) will be required before I commence the application. The total balance will be due after I complete and post the application. The postage fee will be included in my full payment, so you won't be charged extra for this. I only send applications using Next Day by 1 p.m., signed for via the Post office. I will send you the tracking number.
